You can therefore enjoy the beauties of the villages of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore without necessarily staying there;
the train service is indeed reliable and offers freedom of movement.

Transfer from Lido di Camaiore to the station of Viareggio
Round trip rail ticket to the Cinque Terre with the possibility to stop and restart at your leisure from each of the Cinque Terre villages (Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore)
Transfer from the Viareggio station to our hotel in Lido di Camaiore.

Average journey times by train between the five villages of the Cinque Terre:
Monterosso - Vernazza: 4 minutes
Vernazza - Corniglia: 4 minutes
Corniglia - Manarola: 5 minutes
Manarola - Riomaggiore: 6 minutes

Suggested itineraries to be done on foot:
Sentiero Azzurro is the most famous and spectacular route that runs parallel to the sea connecting the five villages. The path is composed for about 2 km by paved mule tracks and steps, while the remaining from the Via dell 'Amore and internal streets.

RIOMAGGIORE - MANAROLA
Distance: 1 km - Travel time: 20 minutes
The route starts near the train station and is called "La Via dell 'Amore".

MANAROLA - CORNIGLIA
Distance: 2.8 km - Travel time: 1 hour.
To resume this path it is necessary to reach the marina of Manarola.

CORNIGLIA - VERNAZZA
Distance: 3.4 km - Travel time: 1 hour
This path runs along the numerous vineyards of Corniglia.

VERNAZZA - MONTEROSSO
Distance: 3.8 km - Travel time: 2 hours
* It is the most challenging part of the blue path and in the last part of the route it consists of 377 steps of the Lardarina staircase leading to the village.
